- Tomorrow, Friday, May 10, is Honors Day beginning at 1:00 for 1st - 6th grade students. Parents and grandparents are welcome to attend.
- End-of-year Party permission slips and money is due by Monday
- AR Slide Party is Wednesday, May 15th, for the students who met their AR goals for the year
- Field Day is Thursday, May 16th from 8:30 - 11:00. More details to come soon.

Welcome Carter Bragg
Carter Bragg made his grand appearance yesterday, May 7 at 3:45 PM. He weighed 8lbs and 1oz and 19.5 inches long. I showed the kids the picture Mrs. Bragg sent of him today. They all thought he was so cute. I'm sorry I couldn't get to the blog until just now.

Pickup from our End-Of-Year Party & Kittens
Happy Tuesday Parents! I have enjoyed having your kids in class the past couple days. With so many activities this month, please check the blog every couple days at least to see what is new.
Tomorrow - because I forgot today - I will send home a note to clarify the picking up of your children from our end-of-year party. Each parent is responsible for picking up their OWN child from Xtreme at 2:30 PM. Your child will be checked out of school and not allowed to come back onto the campus with the exception of after-school children. There is a note and slip to fill out if your child is an after-school child.
Even if your child rides TO the party with another parent, you are responsible for picking up your child FROM the party at 2:30.
On another note, Mrs. Bragg had kittens yesterday but as of 3:14 this afternoon, I don't think she's been as successful getting her baby boy here. However, as soon as I hear the news and details, I'll pass them along.

My Last Day
Parents, Friday May 3rd was my last day for the year before our sweet baby boy comes on the 7th. I have loved having your children this year and will miss them to death. Mrs. Melanie Hamline is filling in for me for the rest of the year and she is WONDERFUL with the students! I just wanted to touch base on a couple of things before I left:
1. All grades for Honors Day have been turned in. Mrs. Hamilin knows nothing about any of them. If you have a question you can ask Mrs. Carr.
2. Mrs. Hamlin will be learning our schedule and how to work everything so please be patient with her while she is getting settled. She is very excited about coming to be with the kids :)
3. I have updated my blog and edline for the week of May 6-10 already so Mrs. Hamlin would not have to worry with it her first week here so if you received your edline report on Friday that is why.
4. Honors Day is May 10 at 1:00p.m.
