Homwork posting on the blog

Parents of 5th grade students, I am still in the process of learning all of my new students and we are all still learning how things work in the 5th grade together. The tabs labeled 5th grade science, 6th grade science, Reading, and Spelling on my blog show the assignments we will be covering "In my class period" that day at school. I do not post my homework on the blog. Students have a homework board that they copy this from each day. They have 15 to 20 min. to do this, so everyone has plenty of time to get it down. If you see page numbers under any of the tabs such as Page 4 in spelling this means we will be doing that page in class. Please do not make your child finish that page for homework. They should have the homework down in a notebook somewhere. I would advise that students bring a little notebook just for homework that they can write the day and the homework down  in so doesn't get mixed up and lost in their binders but this is totally up to you. We are having a great week and getting use to our routine. I just wanted to clear the homework up in case there was any confusion. Thanks for all that you do.
